Colour and Steek with Janice
Saturday May 27th 10:30am - 4pm
A steek is a bridge of stitches placed at an opening point, this could be between the fronts of a cardigan, the division point of a ‘V’ neck or the start of an armhole. A steek allows the knitter to keep working in the round without interruption. When the knitting is complete, the steek is then cut and reinforced, thus creating the required opening.
This workshop will guide participants through the creation of a bridge, a simple steek and how learning to knit continental style can improve your stranded knitting technique when working in the round.
Skill level:Experience of working in the round will be an advantage.
Due to increased demand, workshop tuition must now be paid in full at the time of registration. To review Wool for Ewe's Workshop Cancellation & Refund Policy, please click here.
