The Anatomy of a Sock with Katherine Lymer
Sunday 22st October 2017 10:30am – 4:00pm
Ever wanted to try knitting socks?
Rowan Tutor Katheryn Lymer will be with us to take you through the anatomy of a sock.
During this workshop, we’ll practise the important components of knitting socks from the top down using double pointed needles (dpns): Casting on, turning the heel, forming the gusset and shaping and grafting the toes. Whilst previous experience of knitting with dpns is not essential, knitters should have a good understanding of the knitting basics (knit, purl, casting on and off).
WARNING: SOCK KNITTING IS ADDICTIVE!!!!!
Due to increased demand, workshop tuition must now be paid in full at the time of registration. To review Wool for Ewe's Workshop Cancellation & Refund Policy, please click here.
